Virus, Spyware, Malware, & Other PC Threats

Most people have heard the terms virus, spyware, malware, and phishing, but many don't know the specifics about what they mean with regards to how it affects their home computer. I'm tried to put together a short document that explains what those terms mean, what activities are known to expose you to getting a virus, what to do if you think you have a one, how to prevent infection, along with simple explanations of common buzz-words associated with computer threats. This document was written with Windows XP users in mind. Windows 2000 and Vista users will also find this information useful, however any software recommendations found within may or may not be compatible.
